Modern Eid

HOW IT ALL BEGAN
In 2011 after receiving an Eid present in discounted old Christmas gift wrap, it became obvious that there was a need for accessories specific for the Eid holidays without falling into cultural stereotypes. Back then it was a stark landscape that we helped refine into one that celebrates American Muslim modernity.

We wanted to get children (and grown-ups) excited about the holidays and encourage families to start new traditions with products that were specific for them done in a modern way. Hence modernEID was born! We set out to create a products the lived up to the mission: "THE place for stylish goodies for ALL celebrations. Nothing tacky. We promise".

PRESENT DAY
Since 2011, our mission of bringing underrepresented products and holidays to the masses has always been our driving force. We were the first to collaborate with a major American retailer, Macy's, in hosting in-store Ramadan and Eid events. After several collaborations with Macy's and then Saks Fifth Avenue, our products were soon carried by Jet.com and then Walmart.com.

In 2019, after year's of arduous work, modernEID products were sold in store at Macy's and Walmart Canada (online).

modernEID has been delivering on our promise of "nothing tacky" and answering the call for bringing inclusivity to the gift and party industry. Most of our products are made in the USA of the highest quality. But we don't stop there-we have created designs that can be used for any celebration. Birthdays, showers, holidays and parties, no matter what the celebration, modernEID will help you make it pretty... and modern!
