We are Diana & Linda – the Mommy Chefs behind Laaziz.

Our journey started when we couldn’t find baby food in the US that was Halal and tasted good as well. As moms ourselves, we know how important it is for little ones to get the right nutrition during their vital growing stages while getting them to develop a love for food – no one likes a fussy eater.

We realized this was only possible when little ones are given nutritious meals that are packed with a punch of flavors during their palate development stage (that end at 24 months).

From flavors to textures to Halal – there was nothing out there.

That embarked us on this journey to create relishing recipes suitable for babies and toddlers that used Zabiha Halal meats for a start. We wanted these meals to not only be nutritious but also full of tastes from all over the world which will introduce amazing flavors to little taste buds and hopefully develop them into foodies.

A tall order for sure ! But after almost 3 years of research & development work with certified pediatric dietician & nutritionist, independent lab testing, sourcing for verified suppliers, and taste testing with a whole lot of little ones (to whom we are eternally grateful) – Laaziz came to life.

Little ones are so full of character and Laaziz meals match them to the tee. The meals taste so good that mommies have been found to eat the leftovers (!) instead of storing them in the fridge in the zippable bags they come in for later use.

Laaziz meals are cooked & packaged in small batches to ensure quality control throughout the entire process. So you can be rest assured that you are feeding your little one quality meals without feeling any of the “mom guilt.”

We urge you to keep a few pouches of Laaziz in your freezer. So for days, you don’t have time to cook for your little one, you can still feed them a healthy halal meal.
