Inglish For Kids has a clear goal - to help encourage Urdu in children using the English alphabet. Their fun and engaging books use simple words and easy sentences keeping North American and UK based kids in mind. Each book includes text in Urdu, Roman Urdu (Urdu written in English script) and English to help parents and children get more comfortable with the language.

The idea was born out of necessity. Masooma and Hamid are Pakistani-Canadian immigrants who had a hard time finding Urdu resources that were fun and engaging for immigrant children (and parents). Leveraging Masooma's graduate degree in Early Childhood Studies, they embarked on a new mission of empowering children to understand, speak and learn Urdu.
